OUR COFFEE
50 YEARS OF ROASTING IN UJI.
Our roots are in Okada Coffee, founded in 1974. For more than 50 years, we have roasted and brewed coffee in Uji, Kyoto.
At OUTSTANDING COFFEE ROASTER, we carry that experience into specialty coffee, roasting distinctive coffees from producers around the world.
We roast on a German-made PROBAT PIII and a vintage FUJI ROYAL.
Each roast is designed around the coffee and the cup we want to create, with an emphasis on clear sweetness, smooth texture, and a clean finish.
After roasting, the coffee is also sorted carefully by hand.
Our goal is to let the character of each coffee come through clearly in the cup.

We select coffees for espresso with both the cup itself and its balance with milk and the wider menu in mind.

We propose coffees, original blends, and serving methods to suit your needs. Packaging and in-store operations can also be developed in parallel.
Once the proposal and terms are confirmed, we begin working together. Ongoing support is available after launch.
