OUTSTANDING [COFFEE ROASTER] is located in a residential area, about a five-minute walk from the World Heritage Site, Byodo-in Temple.
Based on the theme of "combining and elevating the old and the new," the cafe was established as a place to promote specialty coffee and culture, based in an old house built during the Meiji period.

Coffee has a long history as a culture. We want to be like a hub that connects cultures. We hope that by experiencing coffee, music, art, and a world that you have never known before, you will be able to enrich your life even more.
We also hope to increase the number of customers who enjoy and connect with the city and culture through our coffee.
ABOUT OUR COFFEE
Our parent company, Okada Coffee, was founded in 1974 and has been researching home-roasting and brewing methods for coffee in Uji, Kyoto for 50 years.
Using this experience, we carefully select coffee beans from around the world and roast them carefully to bring out the unique characteristics of each bean so that you can enjoy truly delicious coffee.
The roasting process is important for coffee. Even if the beans are freshly roasted and of good quality, if the roasting design and approach are wrong, the coffee will not taste good.
We are constantly pursuing roasting methods that bring out 100% of the flavor of the coffee beans.
Furthermore, all of our coffee beans are hand-picked and sorted, meaning that we do not rely on machines to sort the beans after roasting, but rather by hand. If dead beans (immature beans, fermented beans, etc.) are included among the beans, the coffee's original flavor will be lost. Although it takes a lot of time and money to sort all the beans using human eyes and hands, it is an essential process in order to achieve uncompromising taste.
We create a space where you can enjoy yourself and offer an experience through coffee, without losing sight of the essence. We strive for aromas and flavors that cannot be found in mass-produced coffee, and we create flavors with all our heart, imagining the happy faces of our customers.

Delivery time: Varies depending on the delivery address, but will be delivered within one week of ordering or at the date and time you specify. Products that are out of stock will be shipped immediately after roasting.
Regarding returns, defective products, and cancellations: We take every precaution to ensure that the products we deliver are of the highest quality, but if you receive a product that is different from the one you ordered, or if the product is damaged or defective during delivery, we apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact us via our email address or online form within 3 days of receiving the product. We will send you a replacement product as soon as possible, and we will cover the shipping costs.
