Flavor: Chestnut, Shiranui, syrupy sweetness

Roast level: ●●○○○ (medium-light roast)

If I had to describe this coffee in one word, it would be "refreshing."

This coffee has a stable body typical of Central and South American coffee, with a refreshing fruitiness and acidity reminiscent of Shiranui running through it.

When served hot, it has a syrupy sweetness with a fresh aftertaste, and when served iced, it has a clear, clean acidity that spreads down your throat as it cools.

This is a recommended coffee for the coming season when temperatures continue to rise.

[El Nacimiento Farm]

This is one of Honduras' most representative farms, with such great talent that it has won awards at COE Honduras more than 10 times.

It is a small farm of about 20 hectares located at an altitude of 1,650-1,800m, but the high quality coffee beans obtained from the climate with distinct rainy and dry seasons and volcanic soil that is ideal for coffee cultivation are carefully finished using washing equipment with clean water and well-maintained drying equipment.

The owner of the farm, Oscar Carballo, began cultivating coffee at the age of 16 by planting around 5,000 seedlings on a small farm.

Although the farm area was slowly expanding each year, the company was not earning enough income from transactions with local buyers and was unable to invest in equipment for the coffee farm.

However, in 2017, local buyer Ronnie James visited El Nacimiento Farm, saw its potential, and introduced it to Mr. Carballo, which allowed him to do business with buyers from all over the world.

With Carballo's coffee beans now trading at a fair price, he began investing in farm management in order to grow even higher quality coffee.

Currently, they are working tirelessly to improve the quality of their coffee beans by applying fertilizer based on soil analysis and pruning with machetes, which are used in Central America.

In the same year, the coffees they each grew and submitted to the COE were both awarded prizes, leading the way in the Honduran coffee scene.
