[Gorgeous Geisha flavor from the COE Honduras No. 1 farm]

Flavor: Mandarin orange, peach, jasmine, lingering sweetness

Roast level: ●○○○○ (light roast)

Among the Geisha lineup to date, this Honduran Geisha boasts a particularly gorgeous jasmine aroma. Its soft and elegant acidity, flavors of peach and mandarin orange that fill the mouth, and honey-like sweetness intertwine in a complex way, resulting in a coffee that lingers until the very end of the cup.

The recommended way to drink it is hot. Our recommended recipe calls for 30g of tea to be steamed, but you can enjoy the clear and rich Geisha flavor by reducing the amount of water to 20g-22g.

*Please note that this is a rare lot and numbers are limited.

[ Marie Isabel and her husband ]

Marisabel Caballero comes from a family where coffee has always been a part of life: in 1910, her great-grandfather, Felipe García, began exporting coffee to Germany in exchange for groceries.
The farm was then passed down to her grandfather, then her mother, and now to her and her husband, Moises Herrera.
Moises' story of involvement with coffee begins in 1986 when he started working for a coffee exporter in Guatemala and was later transferred to Marcala, Honduras, where he met Marisabel, whom he hit it off with and married, and from there their farm project began in 1996.
Since then, they have strived to produce high-quality coffee, winning first place several times at COE Honduras competitions and serving as an example of dedication, innovation and passion for coffee for all producers in Honduras.

[ Washed Process ]

After harvest, the cherries pass through a vertical pulper and are then dry fermented in concrete tanks for 12-16 hours.
The coffee is then washed and put into a centrifuge to remove excess water before moving on to the drying stage.
Larger batches are "pre-dried" on the patio for 3-5 hours before being placed in a guardiola (machine dryer) for 70-80 hours.
However, the microlots are washed and then placed on African beds to dry for 11 to 15 days.
